4play, Belfast Odyssey, 29th September 2002
After the incredible build up to the show, all the promotion and the qualifying heats the time had finally arrived! As the cream of modified cars from
all over Ireland made their way to the Odyssey so did the cops! Seems these guys just won`t leave us alone.
As the large crowds poured into the Odyssey they had loads of stunning, shiny and superb motors to feast their eyes on. From the subtle to the down
right mad! There was something for everyone to see.
Highlights of the show included interior specialist, Jamie Shaw and his Renault 5 turbo, a nitroused VW and a multi flip convertible BMW. Dubsport
also put in an appearance with their twin engined golf. It was good to see a few English visitors with some amazing machinery but it was also quite
surprising to see how our cruisers are bridging the gap. In most cases the cars are of equal quality and in some, even better!
As at every show there were the obligatory semi-clad women strutting their stuff selling one thing or another! All in all, a top day out. |
