Race of Champions, Wembley, London, 14-12-08
For the second year in a row the Race of Champions took place at Wembley Stadium in London. In previous years
the event had been held in Paris and Gran Canaria.
Entertainment this year included stunt driver Terry Grant, motorbike rider Chris Pfeiffer, Red Bull stunt bike riders and Lewis Hamilton v Chris Hoy.
The later of which was cancelled because it was too dangerous for Chris Hoy to ride his bike against the car because the track was so slippy. A
special mention to Terry Grant who managed to two wheel an Evo 9 the whole way around Wembley Stadium in one go! Very impressive.
The race of nations was won by Team Germany who defeated Team Scandinavia in the final. Team Germany consisted of Seb Vettel and Michael Schumacher.
Scandinavia included Tom Christensen and Mattias Ekstrom. The race of Champions was won by Seb Loeb who defeated David Coulthard in the final 2-1.
