John founded the website in April 1999 and at that stage it was Irelands original modified car and cruising site. The name Jon44w comes from the number plate on his Renault 5 Turbo. The site began by putting photographs up onto the internet of the R5 going through the modifying process. When these pictures went up a few friends asked if theirs could go up to. Eventually more people had their photos published until we reached the stage where we are today! John looks after the running side of the site, and organisation of stands at various shows and events to promote the site, as well as keeping a close eye on the day to day running of both the front end and the online forum community....

Having worked on several other cruise sites before, baz travelled to Northern Ireland back in 2002 as part of a work placement.  Unfortunately for him he was unable to escape and we now keep him captive in the basement of the Jon44w mansion to work on the development of the website.  Recently we have decided to put a lightbulb in the room so that he can see where he takes a whizz and what-have-you, as the stench was becoming unbearable.  Baz looks after the continued development of the forum and front end sections of the site to enhance the appeal of the website to both current members and new members alike as well as continuing to keep a watchful eye on our forum community....

Andy's name was also pulled out of the hat leaving him with the hotseat position of looking after the forum along with the rest of the team.  He may be the newest addition to the team, but he's taking the job seriously and is already helping to bring new idea's to the team.  Frankly he's just too keen and we reckon he'll burn himself out in a couple of weeks time when he realises that being a member of the site's admin team normally means no-one will listen to you anymore....

Our other latest addition to the admin team is Richard Gardiner, who has also been a long-time member of the site, and has a Customer Support background like Chris.  Richard has also been assisting with us of late with additions and updates to the existing site to keep it at the forefront of the modified car scene in Northern Ireland....

Phil joined the site to assist in taking photographs from shows and events all over Ireland.  He's been involved in photography one way or another for a number of years and his hard work is more than appreciated and you can find samples of his work in our events from April 2005 onwards....
